Fifteen years ago, three close friends had a strong desire of having their own business. They began searching for different options they could pursue to make their dream come true. This is how Transactel came to life in 1995, which was a mortgage and commercial portfolio management company at first. Thanks to the organization’s hard work and dedication, it has become a leader in the outsourcing industry in the Central American region.
Transactel is a company whose origins are 100% Guatemalan. It became a pioneer within the call center industry in Guatemala when it took the first international call in 2004. Today, through the experience acquired throughout the years, Transactel has expanded to Quetzaltenango, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
Transactel’s presence in Central America sparked Back Office operations in El Salvador in 2002, and later ventured into a new market, Honduras, in 2009.
The attitude and commitment of the leadership team that make up Transactel have made overcoming obstacles and challenges that have come up through the years a possibility. The company has proven its ability to adapt to changes and cover the demands of a dynamic industry.
Transactel is passionate and committed to its employees. During its fifteen year existence, Transactel has continued its commitment through the creation of growth opportunities for its most talented team members in an environment that cultivates excellence, integrity and responsibility. Transactel also offers an array of benefits for its employees through a diverse set of programs.
Since 2006, Transactel has grown over 50 percent thanks to the industry’s exponential growth. At first, the company was made up of 30 employees. It now has a team of more than 6,200 Heroes in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
Just as one of Transactel’s founders states, the company’s success doesn’t lie in doing one great thing every now and then, but rather in consistently doing things right from day to day. This attitude has, without a doubt, created a foundation for the excellent results that this regional company has created throughout its 15 years of operations.
